On Wednesday, Rohit delivered an outstanding performance to assist Mumbai in starting their Vijay Hazare Trophy campaign with a victory in Jaipur.

Mumbai won against Sikkim by eight wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium located in Jaipur. Pursuing a target of 237 runs, Mumbai made the challenge appear quite simple, largely due to their captain’s contributions.

Sikkim won the coin flip and opted to bat first. They set a challenging score of 236 for 7 in their 50 overs.

Rohit struck an impressive 155 runs off only 94 balls. His performance featured 18 boundaries and nine maximums. He scored quickly and made the pursuit seem easy.

Rohit achieved his century in merely 62 balls, marking the quickest List A hundred of his career.

The Sikkim bowlers couldn’t respond as soon as Rohit settled into his groove. Musheer Khan remained unbeaten on 27 and aided Rohit effectively, while Sarfaraz Khan concluded the game with a brisk eight-run contribution.

Mumbai achieved the target in only 30.3 overs and secured the victory comfortably.
