If SmackDown intends to embrace lighter moments occasionally, Hendry’s enthusiasm is a great match. His presence brings a refreshing element to a show that needs it.

Aleister Black was featured in another shadowy vignette targeting Damian Priest. Their competition has persisted for months, with neither individual able to progress.
It appears their narrative might conclude next week on SmackDown, where they are anticipated to confront one another for the final time. Black and Zelina Vega have further opportunities to develop on SmackDown, particularly if they collaborate across divisions.

Giulia Defeats the Champion Yet Still Feels Trapped
Giulia joined WWE as a significant acquisition and appeared to be a rising star during her time in NXT. On the main roster, that commitment has not entirely translated.

Williams came back shortly after and cautioned Rhodes to grip his title “very tightly.” The line provided him with a powerful moment and indicated that he is present to make a difference.

Carmelo Hayes’ progress on the main roster has been gradual since his early draft selection in 2024. That elevated draft position generated significant expectations, yet he never had the opportunity to gain traction. His prolonged rivalry with The Miz offered minimal assistance.
SmackDown ultimately transformed that. Hayes secured his initial main roster championship by winning the United States Championship. The victory felt significant, similar to when Sami Zayn assisted in raising Ilja Dragunov earlier this year.
Despite the inconsistent bookings this year, WWE’s strategy of utilizing the United States Championship to develop new talent has been effective, and Hayes is now in the spotlight.
